Description

Whispers Beneath the Canopy draws you into an intimate royal moment framed by elegance and quiet devotion. Radha and Krishna sit together on an ornate swing bed, shaded by a richly patterned canopy held by attentive attendants. Their gentle exchange feels unhurried and warm, set against a serene garden of tall banana leaves and blooming shrubs. The composition hums with soft colours, detailed textiles and the subtle rhythm of companionship.

Mahaveer Swami uses layered handmade paper, natural black pigments and pure gold ink to create depth and luminosity. Every fold of fabric, every piece of jewellery and every gesture is rendered with a level of precision that defines traditional miniature painting. The calm, symmetrical layout makes the artwork feel both intimate and ceremonial.
