Description

Golden Stage Dancer feels bold, theatrical and full of personality. Mahaveer Swami paints the figure with a mix of confidence and grace… a performer caught mid-pose, eyes gently closed as if letting the rhythm move through her. The gold-toned costume steals the spotlight… embroidered bodice, patterned shorts, tall stockings and a sweeping cape lined in deep blue. Every texture is drawn with the artist’s signature precision, from the tassels on the cape to the delicate feathers of her headdress.

The dark background works like a velvet stage curtain… letting the figure glow at the centre and making each detail feel sharper and more dramatic. It’s a miniature that celebrates performance, ornamentation and the lively world behind the stage.

Why This Artwork Stands Out:

  • A striking mix of theatrical costume and miniature finesse
  • Detailed gold motifs that catch the eye immediately
  • Strong silhouette against a rich, dark backdrop
  • A great pick for collectors who enjoy expressive, character-forward piece
