Abhishek Joshi hails from Shahpura, Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, born in 1975. He completed his education at MDS University in 1975. He has been practising the art of Phad since 1984. His father was also a Phad artist. Seeing his father, Abhishek Joshi was intrigued by the art form. His father became his first teacher, and his initiation into the art tradition began in his school days. He does not limit his art to the traditional subjects of art. Through his paintings, he tries to spread awareness about various pressing social issues, such as 'Save the girl child'. Currently, he is affiliated with Chitran Kala Sewa Sansthan, Shahpura, Bhilwara, and Rajasthan. Major Awards: 1. First Position in State online competition by Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, 2020 2.
