Ramu Ramdev, from Jaipur Rajasthan, comes from a long line of traditional artists and brings a wealth of experience and storytelling to the class. His work strikes a balance between time-honoured techniques and a fresh visual approach, making him one of the most respected names in the field today. Ramu Ramdev He learnt this Art from his elder brother Shri Govind Ramdev as also from Shri Bannu ji; and specialised with perfection in Traditional Style Painting. Shri Ramu Ramdev is jointly selected with his Elder Brother Shri Govind Ramdev for National Award 2010, Presented by President of INDIA on 9th November 1, 2012. Ramu Ramdev had received the State Award in 1998-99, for excellence in Miniature Painting. Known for his humility, sharp attention to detail, and deep reverence for his craft, Ramu ji remains a torchbearer of India’s rich miniature painting tradition.
