Manish Vaishnav

Belonging to Ajmer in Rajasthan, Manish Vaishnav ji is a third-generation Pichwai artist who has been engaged in this traditional art form for more than 23 years. He belongs to an artistic family and thus learned the technicalities of the art form from his grandfather and father. Together they run a shop in Ajmer, where they sell a great collection of handmade paintings and traditional decor items, along with a variety of Pichwais. Manish Vaishnav ji believes that the works he creates are not just ornamental pieces of art but are a way for them to express their devotion to their deity.

Other than creating Pichwais, Manish Vaishnav ji has also worked with other art forms, both traditional and contemporary. He has experimented with Madhubani art, abstract art, and even wall paintings for hotels and temples.
