Our miniature artist, Bhanwar Lal Kumawat is a renowned traditional artist celebrated for his mastery in Mewar Miniature Art, a centuries-old style rooted in the royal courts of Rajasthan. With over three decades of experience, Bhanwar Lal has dedicated his life to preserving and promoting this intricate art form, known for its fine detailing, vibrant natural pigments, and narrative depth. Hailing from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, he was trained in the age-old techniques by senior masters and has since become a torchbearer of the tradition—combining precision, discipline, and a deep understanding of Indian mythology and courtly life. His works often depict episodes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the regal history of Mewar, brought to life with remarkable finesse.
