Watercolours Waves Workshop by Mouli Chakraborty

Art gives us the freedom to express ourselves, our ideas, emotions, and imaginations. Watercolour paintings are the best medium to bring those thoughts to life. Watercolour or aquarelle is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution.
To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this beautiful art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a Watercolour Waves Workshop and invited Mouli Chakraborty

Mouli is from Howrah, West Bengal. A self-taught local artist, she does various kinds of art like mandala, acrylic, gouache, and watercolour. She is good at creating and showcasing easy methodologies of different artworks specially watercolour paintings.

Watercolour Waves Workshop Began

The workshop began with a small introduction of the host Mouli Chakraborty. Later we started with the art session where Mouli took ti forward by explaining every step in detail. Alongside, she also shared many tips on what to use between gel pen or roll pen and watercolour paper usage.

Along with that we also had a fun poll during the session while everyone continued with their artworks. The session was quite interesting as Mouli shared a lot of different techniques of watercolour painting.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Moving forward, the attendees showcased their beautiful watercolour artworks and Mouli shared her feedback on each painting. Not only creating the artworks but also the detailing of theme were quite amazing to look at. Everyone’s art piece was amazing and it looked like a real sea painting. The outcome of the whole experience was mesmerising and the workshop ended on a happy note with Mouli showcasing her artworks and knowledge about watercolour paintings. 

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan Studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
