Water colouring simply is water mixed with pigment which is then applied to paper. But learning to paint urban landscape with watercolours is more than just watercoloring. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a Watercolour Urban Landscape Workshop and invited Vidhi Rajgadhia.

Vidhi Rajgadhia is from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. She has always been very attracted towards art field. She started this captivating art journey when she was just 3 years old. Now itā€™s been 11 years since she has been into art and now it has been a craze for her, what she feels for art is all about fantasy and expectations . He artworks doesn’t have a particular style. Art is something which has hundreds of styles and has various ways to do it. She really enjoys doing this thing. For Vidhi art is about painting a colourful world.

Watercolour Urban Landscape Workshop Began

Vidhi began the workshop with an interactive session trying to learn about the attendees and their experience in watercoloring. She explained about different types of art paint and not to confuse it as watercolours. Also, she elaborated about the right materials to select for watercolour art.

Moving on she started with the basics of watercolour painting. Then, she began with watercolour painting artwork and explained the whole process in a detailed manner, with insightful tips and techniques.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

The Watercolour Urban Landscapes Workshop was quite informative and interactive. Vidhi shared the importance of colour mixing technique and practicing. Vidhi  was very happy and impressed to witness the attendees being so interested and engrossed in the workshop. The workshop ended with attendees showcasing their beautiful artworks as well as Vidhi showcasing some of her lovely artworks. 

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
