Urban Landscape,’ is any image which combines buildings and elements of a city or town can be defined as an urban landscape. An urban setting has the complete detail, space and atmosphere give incredible locations from which to draw and paint. A cityscape has the real advantage of being accessible to most people. In the visual arts, a cityscape (urban landscape) is an artistic representation, such as a painting, drawing, print or photograph, of the physical aspects of a city or urban area. It is the urban similar of a landscape.
The Circle Community brings together Urban Landscapes Workshop with Kavya Sampath.
About The Artist
Kaavya Sampath is an artist, digital artist, teacher and entrepreneur and owns Mirrah and also teaches calligraphy.
The Workshop Began
Kavya greeted all the attendees and thanked the host for the introduction. She first started sketching the monument on the canvas, started painting it with shades of blue for the sky, light green for the grass, light brown for the path near the monument and the structure. Drawing frames in the window along with the bricks and concluded the painting by the grass with dark green colour.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
Kaavya painted a beautiful and gave an artistic touch to an abandoned historical monument with greenery around it. All the participants appreciated her Urban Landscape and showed her co-created Urban Landscape paintings to Kaavya. The host thanked Kavya for teaching this colourful art.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
