Vector Gouache Landscape Workshop By Raashi Gupta

Art is what pushes you outside your comfort zone in the most humble and positive manner. Vector gouache art is no different. Gouache is a form of opaque watercolour which gives your paintings the sophisticated touch it has been needing. This art form teaches you to create such art in a very simple and elegant manner. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this modern art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a Vector Gouache Landscape Workshop and invited Raashi Gupta.

“An engineer by profession and an artist by heart” is what our Vector gouache landscape artist calls herself. Raashi Gupta like many of us was disconnected from art all her school life but during her college days it was art that gave her solitude. Her brush became a gateway to peace and now she inspires others to find that peace through art and painting.

Vector Gouache Landscape Workshop Began

At the beginning of the workshop Raashi described how she will explain the difference  between Gouache paint and other paints. She explains about the products that are best used with gouache. Moving forward she also talked about the value of colour and how to avoid making common mistakes while using gouache.

She explains about colour through a work-board she had created earlier along with a description about paint brushes and the kind of brushes that should be used for different strokes. Raashi starts painting by showcasing the kind of landscape the participants slowly started creating together in the workshop.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

The workshop was interesting as well as pretty interactive and everyone shared their views on how painting landscapes are giving them a tour of the outsides. Raashi Gupta cleared all doubts regarding gouache which will be beneficiary for the participants for their future artwork. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their work.

The attendees were also from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
