Sculpture Painting with Dee Deshwal

Sculpture Painting with Dee Deshwal

The art of Russian sculpture painting involves creating intricate patterns, especially when designing flowers. Mastering such art requires consistent practice and ample patience, as each petal differs in size and shape. The use of pastel colours gives it an allure of nature and a realistic feel. For people to explore more about this art, The Circle Community conducted a workshop with Dee Deshwal.

About The Artist

A few years ago, Dee Deshwal came across videos of beautiful flowers, leaves, and bird sculpture paintings. Her interest and passion towards such an art bloomed, which made her jump right into purchasing products related to it without any prior knowledge. But this decision changed her life completely. Her passion for the art grew and she got certified as a Sculpture Painter under the guidance of the Russian artist Evgenia Ermilova.

The Workshop Began

Dee shared some of her insights and secrets on creating a perfect rose. She focused on explaining both – technical and creative aspects of how to work on each petal. Additionally, she recommended brands and made the audience understand how to identify the right quality product that will give outstanding results.

With the use of a palette knife, she sculpted a delicate blue rose with purple leaves.

“Art has no boundaries when it comes to the imagination.”

said Dee while she was engaged in the co-creation process.

She mentioned how she once posted a picture of herself standing on one of her own paintings. This was to prove how sculpting paints hold their shape even though they look fragile.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

When the attendees asked about sculpture paints, she advised them to try buying from her own brand for favourable rates, availability, and the right quality. Throughout the workshop, Dee portrayed how to place, lift and fix an impeccably constructed rose.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
