Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

Resin Art Workshop with Rashi Kothari

Resin Art Workshop with

Resin art is created when a runny chemical called epoxy resin is combined with various colour pigments and additives to produce a blend of unique patterns and textures. The resin mixture hardens when mixed with a hardener to a solid plastic as a chemical reaction between its components takes place. Epoxy resin is commonly used in art in many ways, from expressive, hypnotic and magnetic fluid artworks, to use with silicone moulds to cast objects such as coasters, dishes and jewellery, as well as sealing other works like drawings, watercolour works, oil paintings, and photographs, creating a beautiful, high shine, ultra-glossy artwork. Rooftop brings together Resin Art Workshop with Soumili.

About The Artist

Rashi Kothari is a passionate artist who loves to work on artforms that bring out her creativity. The art pieces she creates are artistic and aesthetically pleasing.

The Resin Art workshop Began

Rashi thanked the host for the lovely introduction and greeted the participants. She first started mixing cobalt blue colour along with white colour. She continued adding some brown glitter for the sand and mixing the dark and blue colour, adding white colour for the waves adding an effect of splashing. Rashi showed all her colourful art to all the attendees.

Towards The End Of The Resin Art workshop

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
