Realistic Watercolour Florals Workshop By Deepti Ahluwalia

Realistic Watercolour Florals with Deepti Ahluwalia

Watercolour painting is considered as one of the most primitive types of painting. Watercolours are fun, inexpensive, and one of the best techniques of representing water. Painting realistic flowers with vibrant and sunny watercolours can brighten anyone’s day. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this beautiful art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special Realistic Watercolour Floral Workshop and invited Deepti Ahluwalia.

Deepti Ahluwalia is a watercolour artist. Her art is heavily inspired by nature and everything vintage. Art is something that brings her joy and happiness. She believes that the most enduring piece of art isn’t always the one that is perfect but the one that makes us feel at peace.

Realistic Watercolour Florals Workshop Began

Deepti commenced the workshop with a short introduction of herself. Later, she began with the watercolour floral painting and explaining each step at a time. Along with that, she showed different techniques to paint flowers and the leaves.

Furthermore, she started with the floral painting around the alphabet. Besides that, she explained the importance of maintaining the balance in the artwork. She also shared a lot of tips and hacks for painting beautiful flowers using watercolours.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Towards the end of the workshop Deepti demonstrated different ways to add details and accents to the watercolour flowers. Also, she answered all the questions put up by the attendees in a simple and clear manner. The attendees seemed quite consumed in getting the perfect flowers and leaves. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their beautiful artworks.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
