Playing with colours

“Every canvas is a journey all its own” – Helen Frankenthaler. Art has the magic and therapeutic charm that makes it one of the most practised ways of meditation. Painting is one of the most celebrated art forms in the world. The reason behind the popularity of painting is the relaxing and soothing experience that it provides to the person, not to mention it also helps to energize and express one’s imagination, while also enhancing emotional intelligence.

How does a painting start and what wonders can be done with the help of the colors? Well, these questions instigates one’s curiosity to take a deep dive into the world of painting. To delve deeper into this art form, TCC organized an amazing and fun-filled workshop for the Circle members and invited expert artist Ekta Solanki to facilitate the session.

Ekta then gave some insights into the specifications of painting and its benefits as a therapeutic art form. After the introduction to the art form, Ekta started creating the artwork and demonstrating the procedures of the same. She explained the benefits of the dry brushing technique and the hurdles faced when using watercolor technique. Ekta frequently answered the doubts of the attendees, who were equally engrossed in the process also they were co-creating with her. The whole workshop was very intriguing and engaging.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the workshop progressed towards completion, attendees showcased the artworks that they prepared along with the artist for her valuable feedback. The workshop came out to be an amazing learning experience as the attendees were delighted. They thanked Ekta for preaching and demonstrating the art process and for clearing their doubts efficiently. The workshop ended on a positive note for everyone.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups but their affection for art brought them together on one platform.
