Pichwai Workshop

Not everything that age turns useless. Art and its forms with every age gets better and more innovative. No matter how important modernization to human growth can be, some traditions simply never age, like the very famous Pichwai Painting.

Such art forms age like wines better and stronger with time. Pichwai Painting is one of the most celebrated art forms of Rajasthan that has been in practice since ages. It was earlier used to decorate temples but now its varieties can be easily seen on designer clothes, sarees, Kurtis and a lot more.

The creative minds of today’s generation hold a keen interest in exploring the art form and thus, look for opportunities to acquire maximum possible guidance. The Circle Community truly understands the need and desire of these creative minds and thus acts as a bridge between the mentors and the learners through workshops like Pichwai Workshop with Kanika Singhal.

About the Artist:-

Kanika Singhal is a travel and art enthusiast holding 10+ years of working experience in the travel industry. She also holds impeccable experience in various art forms and by now have successfully mentored 100+ creative minds of different age groups.

The workshop began:-

The traditional exploration of the art form began with the host briefing the celebrated mentor, Kanika Singhal and her stronghold on the art form over the years. She then took over and began with briefing the importance of pichwai painting in order to give attendees a clear idea of what and how the piece is to be created.

Kanika slowly then began with creating the art piece, following constructive steps and ensuring attendees received the same with clear and precise instructions. She also made sure to remain available for any and every query requested by the attendees.

Towards the end of the workshop:-

Towards the end of the workshop, an impressive Pichwai Painting was created by Kanika Singhal. The same was co-created by the attendees too. Those created pieces were highlighted and tailored with tips that helped the attendees to enhance their end result.

These attendees were of different age groups with a common goal of learning and exploring a variety of Indian art forms, which the circle community effectively allowed them to experience through the workshop.

The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
