Painting With watercolour

Art is something that flows unconditionally and cannot be stopped. Such is the art form of watercolour painting where art flows through watercolours and expresses your thoughts and feelings through your artwork. It is one of the most relaxing and therapeutic art forms which has no rules to be followed. To give our members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rooftop curated a special watercolour painting workshop.

Samiya Parvez is a Design Engineer by day and an artist by night. She has always been interested in creating things and is intrigued by the work of many artists. Always being passionate about art she started taking painting seriously in 2020 and tried out many mediums like Watercolor and Gouache. She loves and enjoys doing watercolour painting and is exceptional in that field which is also reflected in her artworks.

The workshop began with a brief introduction of the artist, Samiya Parvez. Later she started with the watercolour painting art and explained each step in a detailed and clear manner. She also showcased the artwork that everyone was going to learn and work on in the workshop.

Along with that she also shared a log of hacks and techniques for watercolour painting. With a slow speed, she explained every detail very precisely and also waited for the attendees to follow along.

The attendees were quite lost in learning different techniques and creating their own art. Samiya also showcased some of her previous artworks which were amazing and a delight for everyone. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their colourful and vibrant works.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to other age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
