Mosaic Workshop with Richa Sheth

Mosaic Workshop with Richa Sheth

A Mosaic Art is a piece of art that is made up of many tiny pieces of glasses and tile. Mosaic is derived from the Greek word Mousa which means muse. The art form has been around for over a thousand years and was discovered in Mesopotamia as small pieces of tiles were found inside a temple in the third millennium bc. Mosaics with colorful geometric patterns were found in the Middle East and Asia.

The Circle Community brings together Mosaic Workshop with Richa Sheth.

About The Artist

Richa Sheth is an interior designer by profession who is also an art lover by passion. She is from Ahmedabad. She showcases her interior design and is a woman entrepreneur along with her sister Jeshua Shah.

The Workshop Began

Richa thanked the host for the lovely introduction and explained the types of mosaic art which were direct and indirect techniques. She explained the proportion of the materials which are required for it. She divided the center of the frame with golden color in between. Richa started coloring the center with a golden color and started applying the cement mixture for the tiles to stick on the frame and started sticking the yellow and orange tiles on the adjacent sides and answered all the questions of the attendees.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

All the attendees showed their Mosaic creations to Richa. She was delighted to see all the artworks and appreciated all the attendees and encouraged them for their creativity.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
