Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

Make It Artsy Workshop with Saakshi Parakh

There are three aspects to human creativity – art, crafts, and science. Roughly determined, art relies upon intuitive sensing, vision, and expression, crafts upon sophisticated technique, and science upon knowledge. A craft or trade is a pastime or an occupation that requires particular skills and knowledge of skilled work. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special workshop and invited Saakshi Parakh.

Saakshi is an interior designer and a professional artist from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Her interest grew when she joined an art school in sixth grade and started practicing to furnish her skills. Currently, she works in different forms of art like Illustration, color and graphite

portraits, miniature and realistic paintings in a different medium. The world seems canvas to her, she likes to paint on every surface like sheets, fabrics, bags, footwear, wood, walls, glass, marble, tins, pots, cases, and covers, etc. She currently works as a full-time professional artist and a freelance interior designer.
