Lettering Workshop: An art form, where each letter in a phrase or quote acts, as an illustration, is what Lettering is all about. Rajasthan Studio curated a Lettering Workshop with Jenny Chowdhary who is a self-taught artist. She has been doing hand lettering since she was 4 years old.
The Lettering Workshop Began
At the beginning of the workshop, she taught the basics of hand lettering and the types of strokes used to make the letters. She taught me how to draw each letter slowly and steadily. Next, she painted the background with a beautiful pink shade and slowly wrote her favourite quote on it. She also gave certain tips on how to improve lettering and how with practice one can eventually improve.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
At the end of the session, all the participants showed their beautifully written quotes. The participants were fast learners and picked up the concept of lettering easily. Jenny motivated them to practice lettering even after the workshop with their quotes.
