Learn Brush Calligraphy Workshop with Shraddha Verma

Learn Brush Calligraphy

Writing is fun but if we add beauty to the letters, it makes it completely amazing. The art of brush calligraphy is basically brush lettering combined with calligraphy, an art form which when created can leave the viewer awestruck and ultimately falling in love with it.

To introduce the Circle family to the therapeutic charm of the art form, TCC organized an amazing workshop and invited expert artist Shraddha Verma as the facilitator.

About The Artist

Shraddha Verma is a young and vibrant artist who loves to create mesmerizing artworks. She is a college student and fell in love with art in 2019 when she was scrolling through her Instagram profile out of boredom but suddenly something caught her attention. It was a beautiful brush calligraphy artwork that motivated her so much that she decided to explore and learn the art form. Since then, she enhanced her skills in the art form by devoting most of her time to it and now she shares her experiences with fellow art enthusiasts through workshops.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Shraddha and her journey as an artist. Shraddha greeted and expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees. She gave some insight into the significance and therapeutic powers of the art form. With a brief glimpse of what could be expected from the workshop, she started creating the artwork all from scratch. Shraddha explained the basic strokes which are one of the most important parts of the art form and went on to describe the various terminologies and methods of the art form. She demonstrated each step in a very detailed manner that kept the attendees motivated and excited as they were co-creating with her. She also shed some light on the various colours available in the market and which one is preferable.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the workshop progressed towards completion, the attendees were able to create the artworks that they showed to Shraddha for feedback, who found each of them very beautiful and full of effort. Shraddha displayed some of her previous artworks too which were completely mesmerizing and inspiring for the attendees. The workshop concluded with the attendees thanking and appreciating Shraddha’s teaching method which made the whole process more fun and easy.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups, but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. TCC as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a positive and magical vibe altogether.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
