Ink Art Workshop With Pallavi Rastogi

Ink Art Workshop

Ink has been the most traditional form of paint for any artwork, its consistency and nature allows us to create and experiment with patterns and stencils.

To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this modern art form  with a traditional medium. Rajasthan Studio curated a Ink Art Workshop and invited Pallavi Rastogi.

Pallavi Rastogi is a contemporary artist. Since childhood she had a passion for Art but due to some reasons she could not pursue it, but as her child grew up she started her journey of Art. She has a great fascination for bells nature divinity and Buddhism. She tries to connect with all types of people through her thoughts on paper as most of her artworks are based on enlightenment, self realisation of inner super power. Generally she works with inks and photo colours as they bring out beautiful colours.

Ink Art Workshop Began

We started with the introduction of artists and artists interacted with everyone regarding the art form. Artist instructed attendees to draw the outline of Lord Ganesha. We did the intricate drawing and decorated lord Ganesha and the lotus around him. Lord Ganseha is a remover of obstacles and the deva of intellect and wisdom.

We started with the coloring part after the drawing as the magic of colors never seems to fade. We completed the coloring part with the yellow Ink color and other bright Ink colors beautifully which does not get smudged.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

At the end of the workshop we did the remaining shading of the art work and  everyone enlightens the artist with their beautiful work where the artist gives a review of where they can improve.

She displayed her other artworks and everyone enjoyed such a simple yet interesting workshop. The session was informative and art form created was pretty quick.

The attendees seemed immersed in the workshop and thanked Rajasthan studio as well as the artist for introducing them to such a unique art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
