Healthy Baking: Health awareness in the 21st century is spreading like wildfire among the people of all age groups. People, ever than before, are willing to change their lifestyles. They are willing to ditch processed food and eat more organic and natural food.
No Matter how much time you spend running or lifting weight in the gym, if your eating habits don’t change, your results will never be visible. In this circle experience, Athula Gutta gave us tips to enjoy our favorite food without feeling guilty or compromising on taste. This involved simply switching the ingredients.
The Workshop Began
The healthy baking workshop began with an explanation of all the ingredients that were required to bake a healthy coffee almond cake. Mrs. Athula started with the importance of each ingredient in the recipe. She also gave tips on how to correctly measure each of them.
Once all the ingredients were laid out, it was time to mix wet and dry ingredients, keeping the batter consistency in mind. The participants were very quite attentive and curious to know each step. Mrs. Athula patiently answered all the queries and gave some pro tips of baking cake in the Oven, Microwave, and Gas stove. She also added how each ingredient should be used at room temperature only.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
After all the ingredients were mixed at perfect consistency, it was now time to pour the batter in the cooking pot. Later, one could garnish with some favorite toppings like dry fruits and chocolate. Let it bake in a preheated oven. Till the time the cake baked, Mrs. Athula answered the queries of all the participants and gave tips on healthy home baking that everyone can try.
The workshop ended with virtual mouthwaterings & spongy coffee and almond cake. It is the perfect tea time snack!
