Communities from different parts of the world use incense sticks as a part of their spiritual prayers, paying respect to their ancestors in order to ward off the evil eye and bad omen. Incense has a history and cultural significance. It is now used for improving ambience, cleansing air, meditation and cultural rituals.
The Circle Community introduced an engaging workshop on Handmade Clay Incense Holder with expert artist Sayana Das.
About The Artist
Sayana Das is a passionate artist who has been fond of arts since her childhood. She was pursuing a full-time job before she decided to get back to art.
The Workshop Began
The workshop started off with an introduction of Sayana and her journey into the world of art. Sayana greeted the attendees dearly and gave an insight into the art of creating clay incense holders.
Sayana started making the Incense holder and gave essential tips and advice during the making of the incense holder. She explained that the proportion of the clay should be equal and created beautiful petals creating a beautiful flower, and attached the flower painting it in white and yellow colours and the leaves in shades of green.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
As the workshop progressed, all the participants showcased the incense holder created by them. Sayana appreciated their art works and showed her creations to the participants.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
