Gond tribal art includes folk dances, folk songs, and Gond paintings. The present-day Gond paintings developed from Digna and Bhittichitra.

About The Artist

Ritika is into Indian art forms and is passionate about art. Her most loved art form is Mandela dot art as she showcases her artwork on Instagram.

The Workshop Began

Ritika greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the introduction. She first drew the peacock and the branches of the trees on the canvas and went ahead to paint them, She first painted the leaves with green colour and the branches with brown colour and peacock in shades of blue. Singhal concluded the workshop by giving the painting a finishing touch by outlining all the elements of the painting.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Ritika created a beautiful Gond painting of a peacock in blue colour along with the branches of a tree. All the participants appreciated her beautiful Peacock Gond Painting and showed their co-created Gond Paintings. The host thanked Ritika for teaching this art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
