Expressionism Workshop with Srishti Bansal

Expressionism workshop by Srishti bansak

Art has a wide range of applications and practices, which makes it not just about exploring beauty but also an expression of one’s emotions and inner feelings. Expressionism is an art form in which a distorted and abstracted image of reality is created to make it expressive of the artist’s emotions and ideas. Artists who practice Expressionism always strive to convey emotions and their meaning rather than reality, an ideal voice that echoes through the farthest parts of the world.

Rooftopcurated an amazing workshop for you to explore the deep and expressive world of Expressionism and invited artist Srishti Bansal to facilitate the session.

About The Artist

Srishti Bansal is an ardent art follower who loves to create wonderful and expressive art forms presenting her emotions loud and clear. She completed her undergraduate degree in the field of Commerce and loves to be identified as an artist. She has presented her artworks in numerous venues around the world including Paris and Lalit Academy, New Delhi. Art for her is the voice for the inner self that conveys and acknowledges those emotions that are suppressed and go unnoticed.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Srishti and her experiences as an artist. Srishti greeted and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the attendees.
