Doodles are simple drawings made when a person’s attention is occupied with something else. It is a fun activity that can relax your mind. It helps you grasp new concepts, retain information and assist your creativity. People of all age groups doodle for fun or out of boredom. Doodling has been defined as ‘to scribble or draw aimlessly, to play or improvise.

To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this modern art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a Doodling Workshop and invited Unnati Kahar.

Unnati Kahar pursued her Graduation in Visual Arts- Painting department from MS University, Baroda. In her experience, she has touched almost all grounds when it comes to Artistry,. But, she majored in Mural, Fabric, Canvas, Doodles, Graffiti and glass. Art keeps her Engrossed in every manner.

Since her teenage years, she developed an endless habit of filling everything with colour whatever comes in her way or whatever she can shade and at a very early age decided to make this her lifelong career. She is deeply passionate and enthusiastic when it comes to artistry. About her contribution of 8 years, she has painted around 200+ murals, portraits landscapes, fabrics and Counting. She keeps on digging deep into learning from ancient to new global reforms which keep her updated, she feels that it is better to keep learning as there is no end when it comes to art.

Doodle Workshop Began

We created some round figures, some designs for doodling. This was a theme-based beginner workshop for ice cream doodling. Artists instructed to create imaginative doodles and then execute all their imagination on paper. We drew some ice cream, candies and all the quirky shapes of ice creams. We also created eye doodling which had some intricate designs in it. The artist shared some tips to fill the gaps in the doodles through lines, strokes, patterns.

We created some crazy doodles of ice cream shapes which included cherries, softy, scoop. Later, we filled the doodle with vibrant colours. One can use sketch pens, watercolours, other colours to fill up the doodles.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Moving further the attendees share their doodling final artwork. Artist gave some tips and tricks for creating doodles and fillers so that your doodle looks attractive and flourished. The attendees seemed immersed in the workshop and thanked Rajasthan studio and the artist for introducing them to such a unique art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
