Diwali Decorations With Alchohol Ink Workshop With Anuja Aggarwal

Diwali Decorations Using Alcohol Ink Workshop: Alcohol inks are brightly coloured dye-based paints that are most often used in creating free-flowing textures. They used alone in mixed media projects such as printing and stamping, jewelry making, fabric dying, etc . Rooftop hosted a Diwali special workshop on Diwali Decorations using alcohol ink and invited Anuja Aggarwal.

Anuja is among the top alcohol ink artists in India. She conducts regular online workshops and also has an informative blog about alcohol inks. Through her workshops, she has trained over a thousand alcohol ink enthusiasts. Apart from alcohol inks she also works with watercolours. She resides in Jaipur and is an active member of art communities in the city.

The Diwali Decorations Using Alcohol Ink Workshop Began

Anuja began the workshop by explaining to all 19 participants the importance of unique art materials required for alcohol ink. She advised everyone to wear gloves and mask while working with alcohol inks. “Because alcohol ink dries up quickly, one should pour it on a palette in less quantity and shake well before using”, said Aggarwal. Anuja started by painting a glass candle holder with bright yellow colour and drew red vertical lines on it. On a second glass candle holder, she demonstrated how to draw perfect diamond shape designs with the help of cello tape. Her third creation was painting a mini glass bottle in which one can add fairly light and place it on the side table to give a cozy look to their house.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Before ending the workshop, she also showed the circle members how to make fluid art using alcohol ink and turning a simple tile into a perfect handmade gifting option for the dear ones! Her enthusiasm and love for alcohol ink art kept the participants engaged throughout the experiences.

Rooftop was successful in curating yet another art-filled experience to bring like-minded people together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
