Decoupage Jars & Watercolor Mini Art Journal Workshop By Nancy Arora

Decoupage Jars & Watercolor Mini Art Journal 2 Days Workshop With Nancy Arora

Decoupage jars is a very old and popular art form that originated in Europe. It has become the most popular art among crafters nowadays. In simple words, its paint and paper cut pasted together worked upon to give a completely different look to any piece of wood, glass, plastic, or metal.

Watercolor Paintings are the resulting paintings made from dipping watercolour pigments into water. The brush is then allowed to wander freely on the sheet of paper. Both of the art forms have their own vibrance and intricacies. To teach our Circle Members these wonderful artforms, Rajasthan Studio organized a fusion workshop series. The star artist who will be teaching this workshop is Nancy Arora.

Decoupage Jars & Watercolor Mini Art Journal Workshop Began

Nancy has been exploring both of the artforms for a long time now. She in her workshop began by informing our attendees about the preferable materials required and even the stores or websites they could approach to get those materials.

Nancy started the first day with decoupage jars. She explained the diversification in the usage of this particular art form. We could do that on jars, metals, plastic and could transform any mundane item into extraordinary.

Pro Tip: Always use a base white color on the jar to get the full-fledged colors of design that is to be printed on the jar.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

The two-day workshop of the fusion series ended with the most amazing and prettiest Watercolor Mini Art Journal. Nancy thoroughly informs the attendees about the intricate procedure to make the journal. In the end, attendees showcased their work as well. It was definitely a treat to our eyes as well as our artistic skills.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
