Coffee painting workshop

Coffee painting is not a new form of art but it has been sweeping the globe and dragging people’s eyes on it. as it smells great it is even more soothing to the eyes. If any artist wants to go and try something new he can for sure go for coffee painting. This art form is called an arfé which is derived by combining art and café. Coffee painting is created simply by adding coffee to water and varying the strength to get different tones. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rooftop curated a special workshop and invited Tanya Goopta.

Tanya also spoke about the other paintings she had done with coffee. She explained about the artwork she was making. She showed how she was mixing the coffee to get the proper shade needed for the painting and to make it look soothing. The workshop was very interactive and fun with coffee.

Towards the end, Tanya explained about the shades and the different tricks and tips to get them easily. She had a look at all the attendees’ artwork and explained to them how they could make the painting look more realistic and was equally happy with their work. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their coffee painting to Tanya.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
