The mandatory usage of face masks during the Covid-19 times is perhaps the most salient lifestyle change in recent times. Well, with any new change in the Industry comes the flow of making it more trendy and strikingly beautiful. Similarly, in the case of face masks, we don’t need to wear the normal white masks which look plain and dull. It is possible to create your own masks embroidered with any design of your wish.

To explore this art form, TCC curated a special session for the Circle family to experience the amazing fun of creating a DIY mask with artist Ruchika Sharma.

About The Artist

Ruchika Sharma is a very devoted artist whose love for art and craft knows no bounds. She found herself in love with craft around two and a half years ago and that was the time when she decided that she wanted to create her name and fame in the world of arts. In order to pursue her artistic journey, Ruchika quit her job and became a professional artist. After that, she never looked back and kept enjoying and learning in her journey, which she describes as one of the most valuable phases of her life.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Ruchika and her experiences as an artist. Ruchika then greeted and expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the participants. She started the session with a brief insight into the significance of DIY craft and its use and went on to create an artwork from scratch. Ruchika demonstrated and explained each step in a very detailed manner and also kept the session by motivating the attendees to ask questions. She laid emphasis on the use of sewing machines to achieve more accuracy in the artwork. The attendees were very engrossed in the process and interested in every step. As the workshop moved further, Ruchika’s artwork evolved into a beautiful piece.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the workshop progressed towards completion Ruchika completed the artwork which came out to be a beautiful and wonderful art piece. The attendees thanked her for teaching and demonstrating the whole process in such a fun and easy manner. Ruchika then showcased some of her previous artworks that filled the attendees with curiosity and amazement. The session concluded with Ruchika bidding farewell to the attendees and appreciating their dedication.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups, but their passion for art brought them together on a single platform. TCC as always, was able to curate an amazing experience and create memories that can be cherished for a long time.
