If there is any word that every non-artist could relate to in the realm of art that would be certainly Acrylic painting on canvas. These basic yet exuberant colors have the power to relish the beauty of basics. They encompass the power of being multitudinous. To help our Circle members understand the beauty of basics, Rajasthan Studio curated a special workshop and invited Shilpa Lalit.
Shilpa is an artist based in Pune, India. She is not only a prolific artist Entrepreneur as well with her company of paintbrushes named, artyshils. She is magnificent in whatever she does.
Acrylic painting on Canvas Workshop Began
Shilpa began the workshop with a little introduction of her own as well as about the prospects on the progressing session. The added bonus to this session was a giveaway challenge by Shilpa herself. She asked her attendees to solve a question and win the brush set from her own brand artyshils. This really keeps the attendees on the edge of their seats for the whole session as the question could be asked at any point during the workshop.
She even gave a quick introduction to the preferable materials required for this workshop. Kept the session quite a learning experience for the beginners as well.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
Shilpa decided to teach wave painting with acrylics. So towards the end, she concluded the session with the foremost technique of splattering color to give the waves a more realistic look. The step was messy but quite a beautiful and exuberant one. It was a satiating feeling for any artist seeing the waves in such an elevated look.
The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
