Coffee painting is a beautiful medium of painting that one can get connected with and bring out their artistic side along with making a cup of tea early in the morning. Coffee powder is mixed with plain water in order to get different shades of brown for the painting.

To make this art form popular, The Circle Community conducted a Coffee Painting Workshop with expert artist Manasa Shastry.

About The Artist

Manasa Shastry is an art educator. She does mandala wall Art, traditional folk art, and acrylic painting. She showcases her artwork on Instagram.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with an introduction of Manasa and her journey as an artist. Manasa heartily welcomed all the participants of the workshop and talked about the background of the art form.

Beginning the artwork, Manasa first started sketching the bird and continued drawing a branch of the tree. She drew the outline with a black outliner and created shades of coffee in light and dark shades. She first started coloring the canvas with a light shade of coffee and continued coloring with dark shades of coffee. She further shaded the leaves, branches, and canvas.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Manasa beautifully drew the sketch of a little bird on a branch with a coffee painting. The attendees happily showed their coffee paintings to Manasa. She appreciated the artwork and gave them feedback to enhance the beauty of their paintings. She thanked the host for giving her the platform to showcase her skills and expertise.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
