About The Artist
Smita Srivastav is a self taught artist. She allows Digital prints of her paintings and ships them worldwide.
The Workshop Began
Smita introduced herself to all the attendees and explained about soft pastel painting. She said that she will be teaching to create a landscape painting. She showed two of her artwork, an apple and a sunflower. She taught them to make a soft pastel painting of a sunflower. Smita drew an outline for the mountains, and coloured the upper part of the canvas with yellow and pink, colouring the mountains with a brown colour. She coloured the lower part of the canvas with orange, red colour, pink and blue colour. She concluded the sketch by creating light and its reflection and concluded the sketch with a boat.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
All the attendees showed their Soft pastel paintings to Smita. She was delighted to see all the colourful paintings and appreciated the attendees. She showed one of her artworks of a young girl.The host thanked Smita for sharing the knowledge on Soft pastels painting.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
