Don’t we all love art supply shops and it’s hard to visit one without buying anything in return. Beautiful sketchbooks are totally irresistible and one may be guilty of stocking up on sketchbooks faster than you can fill them. One gains a sense of accomplishment when they bind their own book and fill it with sketches.
The Circle Community brings together a Sketchbook binding Workshop with Joeita Banerjee.
About The Artist
Joeita is from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and has been passionate about art all her life. She started painting and getting back to her hobby due to the pandemic, started teaching art to kids, and started her art venture online.
The Workshop Began
Joeita first took a sheet of paper, drew four lines, and later divided them into small sheets of paper. She then started piercing small holes for the binding and showed the thin thread will be used for binding and continued tying knots and discarding the extra thread and started binding all the pages together and made binding a fun play for all the attendees.
Towards The End of The Workshop
Joeita taught the sketchbook binding in an easy manner that one can get back to their childhood time of binding. She showed all of her created artworks of bookmarks, coasters, and keyholders. All the participants appreciated her artwork and talked about her artwork.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
