Realistic Water Splash Drawing with Akshitha

Realistic Water Splash Drawing with Akshitha

Water is the most majestic element in nature. There is nothing more soothing than the rhythmic sound of waves crashing on a beach, or the soft rippling of a small stream. There are oceans,  seashores, rivers, streams, waterfalls, lakes and even puddles.Drawing water drops needs one to get the play of shading and light right. Though it appears simple, getting a realistic and three-dimensional look requires a lot of  effort and practice.

About The Artist

Akshita likes to draw, paint and is passionate about art. She likes to try new art forms and the lockdown helped her reconnect with art.

The Workshop Began

Akshita greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the introduction. She first started sketching the glass, going ahead with water and a portrait of water splash filled with glass shading in lighter shade and went ahead shading it with dark colour. She concluded the water splash drawing with light and dark shading for a realistic effect.
