Print Design Workshop with Rupal Sharma

Print Design By Rupal Sharma

Print design is a subset of graphic design and a visual form of communication that is used to convey information to an audience through intentional aesthetic designs printed on a tangible surface.

To educate art lovers and enthusiasts about this dynamic art form, The Circle Community conducted a Print Design Workshop with professional artist Rupal Sharma.

About the artist

Rupal Sharma is a textile and graphic designer who is based in Delhi and has studied from NIFT. She takes customized orders and showcases her work on Instagram.

The workshop began

The workshop started off with a brief introduction of Rupal and her journey as an artist. Rupal heartily greeted and welcomed all the attendees of the workshop and gave a background of print design as an art form.

Rupal showed her print designs collection and started creating the artwork by drawing four boxes and flowers. She recreated one of her floral print designs as she continued sketching the flower in a lighter shade and proceeded to colour the flower pink with a brush pen. She also gave tips to the participants and showed two of her previous sketches, explaining the process and making of the pattern for a particular sketch.

Towards the end of the workshop

All the attendees had a lovely time as they all created their own pieces of art. Rupal was delighted to see the enthusiasm and the work of all the participants. The workshop ended on a happy and appreciative note.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, hereā€™s us signing off until next time!
