Paper Quilling Workshop With Neha Jain

paper Quilling Workshop

Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of colored paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create beautiful designs. Paper Quilling is an inexpensive art and craft that can be easily learned.

To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this modern art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a Paper Quilling Workshop and invited Neha Jain

Neha Jain is the Founder of  Steps Towards Crafting, a software engineer by degree but an Artist by Passion. Born and brought up in Dil walon ki Delhi, she is now settled in Gulabi Nagri Jaipur. She is an Art Lover and for her Art is just like heartbeats.

Just like a human can’t survive without its Heart Beating, she can’t Survive without doing Art. She does a lot of Art forms like Paper Quilling, Scrapbooking, Handmade Greetings, Decoupage, MacramĆ© etc. but the Art that Fascinates her the most is Paper Quilling. Besides Arts, she loves Travelling and Photography too.

Paper Quilling Workshop Began

She gave the information about the workshop and the host gave an introduction of the artist. Artist gave instructions regarding the materials required and started making tight coils to make flower shape quills. Artist instructed to roll it with less pressure and make few flowers for the art piece in yellow and orange colors. She also showed typography techniques and art pieces of it.

Artist quickly finishes all the flowers and stems with the green quilling paper. She then taught tear drop leaf structure with quilling and meanwhile answered all the questions by the attendees while teaching the art.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

She displayed her other artworks and motivated people to create magic with quilling. She taught various shapes and patterns to the attendees and displayed the reference art piece too. The art piece was soothing and the experience of the artist was clearly visible while her teachings.

The attendees seemed immersed in the workshop and thanked Rajasthan studio as well as the artist for introducing them to such a unique art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
