Mandala Workshop with Shailja Singh

Mandala art holds a universe of elements to learn and explore. When one begins to practice the art form there is a deep investment of thoughts, geometric patterns, different shapes and sizes but more of one’s inner thoughts shape the overall art piece.

Mandala art has been profoundly practised down the years and is still celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation. A number of young artists are coming forward with inquisitive minds to explore the vividity of the art form. If you are one of those individuals, The Circle Community’s Mandala Workshop with Shailja Singh is all you need. The expert here walks you through the detailed aspects of Mandala art with great responsibility and care.

About the Artist:-

Shailja Singh is a proud creative mind who’s deep dived in mandala art and its associated firm. She curates handmade products and gifts. She’s also a proud founder of an NGO called, Abhisha NGO.

The Workshop Began:-

The workshop began with a delightful introduction of the mentor, Shailja Singh and her impeccable expertise on the subject over the years. She then took over the session and began with a detailed briefing of different shapes, sizes, and patterns needed to acquire the desired mandala art piece.

On successful briefing, she began with making the decided Mandala art for the session. She made sure to be utmost precise and transparent with the steps, tips and tricks used throughout the session in order to acquire the final result.

Shailja Singh also remained open and truly helpful for the attendees who had questions and queries.

Towards the end of the workshop:-

Shailja’s constructive guidance and feedback allowed attendees to curate an effective art piece. Towards the end of the workshop, Shailja successfully created a designed pattern that gave a striking result to the overall piece created. The attendees co-created the art piece too and received constructive feedback on the same.

These attendees were of different age groups deeply rooted and motivated in learning and exploring traditional art forms.

The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.Ā
