Macramé, the art of knotting rope, is a smart way to make your own boho-chic-inspired plant hangers. It’s a trend that’s been rekindling since the 70s. If you’re a plant lover, you’ll love the way these hangers will put your plants on display both indoors and outdoors. Macrame plant hangers are designed to display your favorite greenery from the wall or ceiling. Your plants will look magnificent dangling in your home, adding colour to your room.
Rooftop brings together the Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop with Preethi Muthu.
About The Artist
Preethi is a self-taught artist and passionate about various art forms. She showcases her art on Instagram.
The Workshop Began
Preethi greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the introduction. She first taught how to tie in order to make a macrame plant hanger, made the workshop fun and engaging, and made sure everyone could be on the same page. She concluded the workshop by making a white and yellow Macrame Plant Hanger.
Towards The End Of The Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop
Preeti taught all the attendees to make a hanger fun and simple as all the attendees were engaged during the Workshop. All the attendees had a great time co-creating their own Macrame Plant Hanger and showed it to Preeti. She appreciated all the attendees for their beautiful Macrame Plant hangers. The host thanked Preethi for teaching this cute and artistic art.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to other age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
