Let’s Play With Colours Workshop with Anushree Dutta

Let's Play With Colours

Who said colouring and art are only for kids? Even adults can bring out their inner child not just on Children‘s Day but also when they colour as a form of stressbuster after a long week from work or to stay connected with their artistic side. Rooftop brings together to play with colours workshop with Anushree Dutta.

About The Artist

Anushree resides in Germany but has roots in India. She is passionate about art and passes on her skills to fellow art enthusiasts through workshops.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Anushree and her journey as an artist. Anushree expressed gratitude to the hosts of the session and welcomed the attendees heartily. She gave a background about the art form and began creating her artwork from scratch.

Anushree first started putting together the masking tapes on the four sides of the drawing paper and prepared all the materials for the colouring. She started painting with a purple colour using an old toothbrush. She then started using her thumb and shading with a purple colour and further created impressions with yellow and pink colours using a fork. Anushree continued colour impressioning and creating lines in a freestyle manner using yellow and purple colours. She concluded the painting with orange, yellow and purple on the sides of the paper.

Towards The End of The Workshop

All the participants had a lovely time as they connected with their inner child and beautifully sketched their artwork. Anushree appreciated everyone’s artwork and dedication. The sketches were colourful and gorgeous. The attendees were from different parts of the country.

They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
