About The Artist
The Workshop Began
The workshop began with Kiran explaining the unique process briefly involved in designing the metal box. She made home-made gesso by mixing talcum powder, white acrylic paint and fevicol in equal proportions. She began tracing the outline of the design with black marker, which was darkened with black colour pencil. She traced the outline again but this time with a Fevicryl metallic outliner. She carefully coloured the design, blending two vibrant Fevicryl glass colours.
