Hand Painted Wooden Coaster Workshop With Sruti Sarvepalli

Hand Painted wooden coaster workshop

Every day around us we have a bunch of casual but important little things. As we always use these things, we feel very used to their looks and we wish it should have been different. Such an important small part of art here plays a very salient role as it can help us make anything beautiful in just the way we wish it to be. Now the best part about art is that it can give any piece of material a distinct and outstanding beauty and a remarkable look.

Big art has simplicity at the core of it. This thought proved to be an inspiration for us in our pursuit to provide our Circle family with some basic but quite profound insight into the art of painting. In order to bring an auspicious and amazing learning experience for our Circle family, TCC curated a workshop and invited expert artist Sruti Sarvepalli.

About The Artist

Shruti Sarvepalli is a thriving master artist who has gained several experiences in her journey as an artist. As an expert in coaster painting, she can provide extremely useful tips and ideas for creating the art. She completed her education in Architecture in 2017 and pursued a career as an architect for some time. A few years later, she realized her passion for art and particularly, painting. In order to transform her passion into a potential means of income, she started making and selling art pieces from Bhilai itself. She garnered a lot of fame in Bhilai and wants to make this art form a household name.

And The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of the artist through which the attendees got to know about the artist and her passion for the art. Sruti then greeted the attendees and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone present there. The session then started with Sruti further describing the different types of paints and giving some basic insights into painting. She went on to demonstrate the procedure of drawing figures on coasters after applying a patch of paint onto them. She drew a beautiful floral pattern on the coaster and moved ahead in the process. The whole session was quite intriguing and kept the attendees engaged in the process, as most of the attendees were completely new to this art form. Sruti made sure that she conveyed the session in an easy way where everyone could maintain pace with the artist.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the session progressed towards its completion, the attendees were enlightened and were very excited about learning the art form. The excitement could be seen from their excitement and efforts put into the session. Sruti then explained the importance of varnishing as she varnished the art piece. She also displayed some of her previous artworks to provide a better understanding of the art. The whole session proved to be promising as both Sruti and the attendees were able to gain a lot of experience. The attendees then showed their respective pieces to Sruti for feedback and she found all the works very beautiful as well as full of effort.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and were from various age groups, but their enthusiasm for art brought them onto a single platform. TCC, as always, was able to curate and create memories that could be cherished for a lifetime.

On that note, here’s us signing off until next time.
