Doodle Character Illustration with Pooja Banka

Doodle character illustration

A doodle is a drawing made while a person’s attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines, generally on paper, and are called ‘scribbles’. Doodling enhances creative thought and lets one’s inner emotions come out.

To help the Circle family unwind with this art form, The Rooftop Community conducted a fun and interactive workshop on Doodle Character Illustration with expert artist Pooja Banka.

About The Artist

Pooja Banka is an ardent art follower whose love for art knows no bounds. She is a Surface Pattern Designer and a certified artist from Pidilite India’s largest art forms company. During her journey of eighteen years as an artist, she has garnered a lot of experiences that she loves to share with fellow aspiring art enthusiasts in the form of workshops. Art for her is experimenting with one’s imagination and curiosity only to create wonders out of it.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with the host introducing Pooja and her journey as an artist. Pooja greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the introduction. She gave an insight into the art of doodling and explained its practical applications.

She started drawing different types of doodle designs that were of different emojis. Each of them was unique and innovative in its own way. She continued to draw them and gave them an artistic touch and made sure all the participants were on the same page as her.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Pooja drew different characters of doodles that were creative and looked adorable. All the participants appreciated her doodle art and showed their co-created doodle artworks to Pooja. The host thanked Pooja for making doodling fun and interesting.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Rooftop Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
