Watercolour or aquarelle is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution. Watercolour beginners can start with a colour mixing with warm & cool primary paints and learn them real quick. We are sure water colouring is everyone’s favourite. To give our members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this art form, Rooftop curated a special Watercolour Landscape Art Workshop and invited Dr. Samprity Ozah.
Samprity Ozah is a physician from Guwahati, Assam who also paints and art has been her hobby since childhood. She loved watercolours the most and for the last couple of years. She believes that art helps us keep calm amidst the chaos of the modern lifestyle. Thus, she also encourages people to paint or at least draw something regularly.
Watercolour Landscape Art Workshop Began
The workshop began with a short introduction of the artist. The artist Samprity Ozah gave quick information on watercolour art. She started drawing a rough sketch of the temple and explained every step in detail.
Moving further, Samprity started by drawing borders and the horizon line. We did a fun poll during the session which was a fun activity for the artist and attendees. After the sketching, the artist started with the painting and explained everything in the process.
