Toothbrush Painting Workshop: Toothbrush painting is the unique technique of using a toothbrush as a painting tool to create abstract paintings. For this wonderful Toothbrush Painting Workshop, Rajasthan Studio invited Ati Jain. She has been practising art for 3-4years now and specializes in portrait and painting.
The Toothbrush Painting Workshop Began
Covering the canvas with Persian blue acrylic colour, Ati was all set to paint a beautiful wave with a toothbrush. Next, she showed the technique of creating wave-like strokes using the toothbrush and a darker blue colour. The final step was to give small tooth brush strokes with white colour on the painting in order to create the visual effect of a wave.
In toothbrush painting, you have to keep in mind to use the bristles to paint your strokes, instead of flattening the toothbrush.
All the 117 participants who joined the toothbrush painting session worked along with Ati Jain. They used the toothbrush in the same way that she taught them. “I cannot believe how this painting is made just by using a toothbrush!” exclaimed one of our surprised participants.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
The participants bombarded Ati Jain with lots of questions regarding the ideal way to use the toothbrush. She very patiently answered all the queries. At the end of the workshop, all the participants displayed their wonderful ocean waves and left Ati awestruck!
Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
With this, here’s us signing off!
