We come across a lot of things daily which we think are waste products and don’t hesitate to throw them into the dustbin, but they should be given a second chance and should be reused. Coasters are a delight for coffee lovers and tea lovers But often we don’t find coasters according to the mugs we have. One can also make tea coasters with newspapers and be creative.
About The Artist
Jyoti is an architect by profession and a creative person with an interest in art and craft she started with arts as a hobby in the year 2015 and then became a full-time professional in art.
The Workshop Began
Jyoti greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the lovely introduction. She first started cutting the newspapers and started cutting them towards the centre and started making thin strips of newspaper and stuck them together on cardboard paper. She continued colouring the coaster with yellow colour, orange colour, red colour and green colour, white and purple colour in the centre of the But often we don’t find coasters according to the mugs we have. One can also make tea coasters with newspapers and be creative. and showed her artwork to all the participants.
Towards the end of the Tea coasters with newspapers workshop
Jyoti created organic and eco-friendly tea coasters with newspapers that looked colourful and one can use them while sipping a cup of their coffee and tea. All the attendees appreciated the colourful tea coaster made by her. All the participants showcased their co-created their own colourful tea coasters. The host thanked Jyoti for teaching everyone to make their own tea coasters with newspapers.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
