Watercolour, undoubtedly is one of the most fascinating art mediums that have been in practice for ages. Although with its fascinating charisma, working with watercolour brushes sometimes becomes challenging for beginners. The handling of brushes post a challenge for them, so to make Watercolour Pencil Art much easier, watercolour pencils came as a blessing. It’s easy in handling, quite comfortable, and ultimately hassle-free.

To introduce you to this amazing technique, Rooftop organized a Watercolour Pencil Art workshop with expert artist Anuja Bisaria.

About The Artist

Anuja is a professional artist and art teacher with more than 25 years of experience in teaching fine arts. She holds an MBA in HR from the University of Rajasthan and completed fashion designing at JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Along with this, she is a faculty member of INIFD Jaipur.

And The Watercolour Pencil Art Workshop Began

The Watercolour Pencil Art workshop began with a brief introduction of Anuja and her experiences as an artist, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees and went on to describe the significance of the watercolour pencil art form. She commenced the workshop with a brief introduction to the art form and went on to create the artwork all from scratch. Anuja laid a lot of emphasis on the importance of natural factors like the direction from which light’s coming and where it falls on the petal and the flower. All these points were very helpful for Anuja, as she was able to elaborate on the whole process in a very detailed manner. The whole session was very intriguing and engaging as the attendees got completely immersed in the process along with co-creating their artworks.

Towards The End Of The Watercolour Pencil Art Workshop

As the session progressed towards completion, the attendees were very delighted to be a part of the workshop. Some of them, who co-created with Anuja showcased their respective artworks to her for feedback. She appreciated and admired the efforts and beauty behind the artworks and suggested changes wherever needed. The workshop concluded with the attendees thanking Anuja for demonstrating the whole process in such a fun and easy manner. 

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups. However, their love for art brought them together on a single platform, Rooftop as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a positive and magical vibe altogether.
