Polymer Clay Accessories Workshop By Priyanka Gautam

Polymer clay is a type of modeling clay made from vinyl. It’s great for crafting because it stays soft until it’s baked in a regular home oven. It does not dry out, so you can store extra clay to reuse it another day. You can blend it to create custom colors, sculpt it, or impress it with a variety of textured polymer clay accessories are the new trend. They are chic, stylish, sophisticated, and there are many reasons to adore them…To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special workshop and invited Priyanka Gautam.

Priyanka Gautam is a graduate from NIFT(National Institute of Fashion Technology) as a fashion designer. By profession, she’s a fashion designer and all-time polymer clay art. She started working with polymer clay as a hobby. She gifted it to her friends they inspired her to make a page on Instagram and sell it. So that’s how her journey began.

 Polymer Clay Accessories Workshop Began

Priyanka started the session by telling the students that they were going to make a evil eye bracelet. She went on to explain the different types of clay used in this art form. All the attendees paid attention and noted all the key points. Priyanka assured the attendees that she would cover maximum material in the time provided.

She explained how to roll and condition the clay for it to be usable. Priyanka also explained the alternatives just in case the attendees didn’t have the desired color of the clay. She taught them how to make a marker/stencil of the desired design.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Priyanka taught the students that expensive tools and materials were not important, in the beginning, it is important to figure out the best way to create a masterpiece for oneself. All the attendees were successful in creating beautiful bracelets which were great for personal use and gifting also. The attendees were very excited to showcase their work. The overall experience was very delightful and everyone was elated by the experience.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan Studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
