Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

Mini Painting Workshop By CH L Pratyusha

Mini Painting Workshop

Mini Painting Workshop: Mini paintings are paintings which are done on a small-sized canvas. To delve into this horizon of art, Rooftop curated a Mini Painting Workshop and invited CH L Pratyusha. She is an undergraduate student pursuing B.Com from Bangalore. Art has always been her hobby since childhood. A self-taught artist, she likes to explore different art forms. She is into traditional as well digital platforms.

The Mini Painting Workshop Began

Pratyusha began the workshop by taking a 3 cm by 3cm canvas. Then she painted it with blue acrylic color using a flat brush. Very minutely she drew the branches and moon with white acrylic color. Then add more detail by painting leaves, the miniature painting looked very lively. She then displayed some of her other miniature paintings which mesmerized all the 18 attendees.

The curious attendees asked questions about the colours most suitable for this art, to which Pratyusha promptly responded.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

At the end of the workshop, Pratyusha also taught them to draw miniature lime by using just green and yellow paint. In the end, they displayed their mini paintings on the camera and impressed Pratyusha.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
