Eco-friendly Clay Ganesh Idol with Riya Nakhro

Eco friendly clay ganesha

Shadu clay or Maati has eliminated the use of POP ( Plaster Of Paris). It is fine sedimentary clay which is eco-friendly. 100% Natural, water soluble clay, reusable, mouldable, easy to use and kid-friendly make it a popular choice for making sculptures, pottery and clay moulding. Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Puja are major festivals when you will see idols of Shadu clay.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with Riya listing out the materials required. She explained the beneficial eco-friendly Shadu Maati or refined clay. She made a square base out of the clay to support the idol. She moulded the basic figure of Lord Ganesh. A little mouse was added near Ganesha’s foot. She gave depth to the entire idol using clay tools by adding certain details.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

All attendees loved the cute little Ganesh idol. The attendees were able to co-created entire Ganesh idol perfectly in just an hour.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
